Personality: She's quiet, lonely, depressed, scared of not being good enough. She's smart, funny, sarcastic, polite. She's curious and loves to find out everything has can about things that interest her.

History: Raised by her Aunt (who is really just a family friend of her Mother and Father). She was brought up like any other human kid, except she hid her Gem from everyone and didn't socialize due to the fear of being outed as different. The reason why her father didn't raise her is because he committed suicide after she was born. (He had always suffered from depression and her mother's 'death' drove him over the edge.) 

Star stuck to the shadows and never did anything to draw unwanted attention to herself. Unless someone bullied her for no reason, then she became sarcastic and defensive before retreating and ignoring their comments. Her school life went on like this until she graduated from highschool. She then worked at her Aunt's cafe full-time (instead of part-time like she did when she went to school). 

Now, she's heading to Beach City due to the blog 'Keep Beach City Weird' and the so called alien occurrences there. Maybe she'll find out some things about her mother along with the courage to watch the videos she left for her.
